A few words about us
Drone Doctor’s repair engineers have many years of experience of repairing all kinds of radio controlled aircraft; including quadcopters/ multicopters such as: the DJI Mini 1 /2 / 3 Pro, Air 2/ 2S, Mavic Pro, Mavic 2, Mavic 3, DJI Phantom 4 series, and Inspire 2. We are no longer supporting the Phantom 1, 2 & Phantom 3 Standard or the Inspire 1. We also no longer support camera gimbals such as the Osmo, Ronin-M, Ronin-MX and Ronin.
We’re passionate about what we do, and we are the only company in the UK that just repairs drones. We aren’t a phone or laptop repairer who also does drones “on the side” – we’re true experts in the drone world and trusted by thousands of satisfied customers across the UK.
In addition, we’re exclusive repairers for a number of major commercial and hobbyist insurance companies.

CAN YOU REPAIR MY DRONE?
The simple answer is: Yes! We can repair all the listed models of DJI gimbals, regardless of if they have a firmware fault, a problem with the gimbal or camera, or if they’ve been completely smashed to pieces.
Unlike many repairers, we keep parts in stock and don’t order them for each individual repair.
In 98% of cases it’s cheaper to repair than to replace your DJI drone.
We can repair water damaged drones, however we cannot always offer a guarantee. Guarantees on water damage repairs will be decided and agreed upon on a case by case basis. Seawater damage is rarely repairable however.
How does it work?
Simply make a booking through our website and send your aircraft to us. Our engineers will test and diagnose the problem, and then contact you with a quotation for the repair. Once you give us the go ahead, the engineer will make the repair, test fly your aircraft, and then return it to you with a guarantee on the work.
What should I send?
For Minis, Phantoms, Mavics & Inspires: We require your Quadcopter (inc camera) and controller only. We don’t require SD Cards, Batteries, Battery Charger, Micro USB Cable etc, Please don’t send these
If you are sending your item from overseas please do not include your battery due to shipping restrictions. Please do not send any damaged batteries of any kind.
How long does it take?
We aim to have your quadcopter diagnosed, the repair costed, repaired and back to you within 5 working days. This can vary depending on demand and parts availability.
Please note that during busy periods such as summer, our turnaround time may be longer; however, our aim is to provide a high level of service and repair quality instead of rushing jobs out as quickly as possible.
We place orders with DJI and other suppliers for parts every week, so we usually have everything in stock for your repair. In some rare cases, though, parts may be on backorder which will prevent us from repairing the item straight away. If this is the case you will usually be advised of a wait when the quote is issued.
For our current and up to date turnaround time, please see our homepage or give us a call.
I’m not sure whats wrong with my drone – can you help?
Absolutely. Let us know the symptoms and our experienced engineers will get to the bottom of the issue.
Please use the “Contact Us” link
Whilst we will always issue a diagnosis as accurately as possible, we cannot check flight logs as standard. If you wish for flight logs to be checked (such as for an insurance claim) then please contact us accordingly.
Do you test fly before sending my drone back?
Yes. Every drone is fully flight tested before it is carefully packed up and returned to you.
Which Drones do you repair?
We are adding to the list of drones and gimbals that we repair all the time. The current list of drones and gimbals includes:
- DJI Mavic Pro , Mavic Pro Platinum, Mavic 2 Zoom and Pro , Mavic Air & Mavic Mini / Mini 2
- DJI Mavic Air 2 & Air 2S
